It's too bad the author didn't mention Wyden until the 5th paragraph. The author puts "Senator" in the title, when "Senator Wyden" would be just one more word.
Also, there was zero mention of what state the senator is from. Whatever happened to the standard "(D-OR)" after first mention of a senator in an article?
I suspect more than a few of us in ostrich country are considering joining you. It gets old, living where most voters can't be bothered to learn the issues before voting. Or after.
Portland is becoming something of a tech hub, and you can work remotely elsewhere. I live in Bend, which is far more 'purple' than Portland is, but the weather is much more to my liking (more sun, less rain).
