Eh? It's about ensuring that a program running on the computer cannot be altered or compromised in order to run unintended code.



Wouldn't abandoning the von Neumann architecture do this immediately? Store the code and data in separate memories. I'd think that would take out most all exploits in one strike, no?


It appears that they don't want any sacrifices..just a system to run existing code on top of. But yes, you are correct.
