I’ve never heard of Shinsei bank. My accounts are at UFJ, and obtaining them was my second proudest achievement in Japan after my driver’s license.

How or why did you choose UFJ?

No good reason, really. It could have been any of them —they’re all pretty much upside down and backward, to be honest. I guess it’s a way to enforce stability.
