The feature set and performance target overlap, if you know how to read you will notice that anandtech includes Core i7-7800X (a 6 core 12 thread CPU) on the new processors table and has a final comparison against Ryzen 7 1800X, which is the same chip as Ryzen 5 1600 (with 2 cores disabled).
