I often hear scientists complaining that doctors make big paycheck and get all the credits for saving lives while, behind them, 100s of scientists are responsible for the tools that the doctors use to diagnose and treat their patients. To which I point out the 1000s of coffee growers, that are even less acknowledged, making even less money, and having a completely different perspective on work/life balance.
