If you want to take ISE to the next level, check out ISESteroids. After being spoiled by Visual Studio, it's nice to have powerful debugging capabilities.
ISESteroids simply sux. The worst money thrown yet. Its slower to start then Visual Studio Ultimate, then continues to be slow during usage, it has bunch of useless features, it does some Write-Hosts on its own (?!) and unimportant icons and is buggy. It also greets you over full screen each time which is very annoying. The only good feature is powershell compatibility check which actually stopped working for me after some time. Plus its commerical, you have to take care of licensing stuff. Its on my ignore list.
