Seems weirdly reductive the way this is framed rather aggressively as "who do you choose to kill?" (or, really, with the attributes it tags people with, "whose life is worth more?") Surely there are better metrics, like "do people have more time to get out of the way and/or predict the path of the vehicle if it stays on a straight course or swerves" or any number of other, more useful, questions when it comes to actual problems of programming autonomous systems.
