it keeps been true. that article refers to "superpower" which is a technology developed by a third party that hacks the android audio subsystem for certain models, so its not general.
I have like 30 android models ranging 2.1 to 6.0 for testing and never saw any working below 100ms and the majority of them going to 200 or 300ms...
