But don't you think this is the very reason why we need to worry about these issues. Us developers are tired, its not right, this is something we all love doing, and I want more people to love this industry and we cant afford to throw simplicity in the garbage, we need to spend some effort in to making things easier for the people who will come after us.
If you're gonna fall of the cat-v bait and try to "make things right" then you pretty much can't use any language except minimal C or Go. Their page on Java (what people in this thread propose) is way longer.
