My point is that they pay with their soul (or you can call it "integrity"), up front, and then maybe achieve a questionable goal.

Possibly.

An alternative explanation is that the stated goal (reducing abortion) wasn't the actual goal.

For example, if controlling/subjugating women was the actual goal, then more actions taken in the context of 'pro-life' activism makes sense.

It's hard to disentangle subconscious and conscious goals, but the goal of proscriptions against adultery and other reproductive mores usually have a foundation in primogeniture - the practice of passing land and property on to the eldest son.

Robin Hanson has his "Farmer v. Forager" framework to classify many things about which people disagree with respect to social ... policy.

I don't think anyone who isn't a bit ... off can openly promote subjugating women for its own sake; so it's a better story at least if there's a more rational explanation.

The only real "goal" here was media getting more ad revenue. Maciej is just repeating the most recent wave of bullshit stories that circled the Polish press few weeks ago.

Honestly, I expected more from him.

"if controlling/subjugating women was the actual goal"

Then to begin with they had no soul.

Please continue, you're on a roll.

Are you sure that he's not a troll?

By no means. But then, I was just out for a stroll.
