Many people don't even know what a browser is and will just use whatever is bundled with the OS.
Also, IE is often used to download Chrome / Firefox after a fresh install..

It's fast. It's standards-compliant. It has a touch-friendly UI. Once it supports extensions, I'm looking forward to using it a lot more.
