I'd be interested to hear his thoughts on Lisp today, considering he was a big Lisp advocate.

he answered a quite similar question here: "what do you feel the modern relevance of Lisp and Prolog are in AI".

He sort of addresses some of that in his 'Comparing X to Lisp' articles, like: http://norvig.com/python-lisp.html

Little bit of a coincidence as I was just reading his Coders At Work interview today. Good read.

Man Peter Norvig. When I cracked open his Intro. to AI ed. 2 I was floored. I had (and continue to have) so much fun with his book. Also, his website had this awesome article about implementing abstract classes in python in 0 lines of code.

I wish I could shake his hand.

I hope he comments on this blog post: http://scottaaronson.com/blog/?p=431

After search, what is the most exciting application for machine learning that has not yet been implemented well?

I hope that good questions make it to the top; I'm very excited about this interview.

This conversation would be much better if it were on this forum.

Hmm? The questions so far seem perfectly fine. What are you complaining about?

Plus, now that it's been advertised here, the HN-crowd can ask questions too.
