Tried double-tapping in the article text to get it to reflow, and got one of those bogus popups claiming my phone is infected with a virus. Thanks for trying to make my new year interesting. :-(

The site is now blocked by Google Safe Browsing as a result of these complains. Author has been emailed asking that he corrects this behavior in order to be removed from the blacklist.

This happens to me as soon as I enter the website on my mobile. Get forwarded to one of those websites. Although I'm not sure why I want to read yet another person complain about Linux anyway, when I find it is excellent for certain purposes.

Me too. I can't read the article at all because of it.

Flagged the link. But surely I'm not the first. How does this malicious post stay up for four hours?

Yeah, is this considered acceptable in today's world? I goto your site and get attacked by your ad service?

Me too: my response was a) f@#$ this article/website and b) f@#$ Chrome for allowing websites access to the phones vibration and message pop-up window and C) closes Chrome

Mine was 'You were selected! Click OK to claim blah blah!'

Happened to me using Hacker News 2 on Android, which made the "Malware Warning" popup show over the HN comments. Tried a few different ways to actually read the article, since the conversation was interesting, but in the end, just gave up and figured I'd read it later on my desktop.

The site auto-redirected to malware for me. Didn't have to click anything.
