Could you post the code with which you were able to segfault Python 2.6? I succeeded in that only by using ctypes and messing up parameter passing.



I wish I could. I was in the middle of a lab when I did it, and as I fixed it I thought "I should really save this and figure out why it is segfaulting." Alas, the lazy part of me prevailed and I just fixed it so I could demo the assignment. Next time I run into one of those issues I am going to write about it as an example for the argument I just made.
