I don't really have a side in this whole business, but you seem to have brought this topic up entirely to slander someone, and I for one don't particularly appreciate the hijack.

I do understand this topic leads to emotional reactions from many people, and I get that it feels overwhelmingly necessary to express those feelings, but please reconsider using HN for this particular purpose in the future. If nothing else, realize that this ends up undercutting your own position by association to community harm.
