Chrome 50 also introduced some overly eager GC bugs [1] and throws weird new WebGL warnings [2].

Basically all our WebGL projects are affected and clients already started to complain that textures aren't showing or that preloaders are stuck. Hopefully the fixed release gets shipped soon.

Interesting, I encountered problems with image decoding. Image.src = dataURL stopped being reliable. I suspect that the code was refactored to support createImageBitmap (https://developers.google.com/web/updates/2016/03/createimag...), and some kind of race condition or something causes some decoded images to be correctly sized but blank.

We fixed this by making users that support it use createImageBitmap, but I've also seen some Windows Chrome crashes that I suspect are from that call.

EDIT1: Also, thanks for the tip about the WebGL error. I've been seeing that too.

EDIT2: D'oh it looks like you also spotted the reason for the src attribute as well. I should have clicked the link before responding. ;D

Thats already a feature in most modern cars. Seen it plenty of times on the Autobahn. It's really helpful/a life saver to know if the car in front of you just slows down or is doing an emergency brake.

a few days ago Cesanta brought their v7 JS engine to the esp8266 and now samsung is showing JerryScript. Pretty interesting times for embedded JS

Based on how present DJI is in US media, I never even considered them to be a chinese firm.

They're probably a sleeper drone army that will be activated and controlled by some backdoor that the NSA engineered into our network. That's all.

This looks awesome. But is there a technical reason why it's using YAML when virtually every other sublime specific config file is using JSON?

at first i've read it as 'gore-name'... not the nicest thing

It's no expertsexchange. I wouldn't bother changing it.

It should GoRename. or go-rename. or something that everyone can obviously distinguish it.

I think GoreName should be the canonical pronunciation simply because it's more fun.

Yeah...a dash would do wonders for that

Yup. Took me a moment or two to even realise what its real name was

So far i've only watched a few shows and one movie. They all had the _original_ audio track and german subtitles as an option, but not necessarily an english audio track.

As long as I can watch English movies in English, rather than being forced to watch English movies in dubbed German I'll be a happy camper.

Hopefully this gives the German terrestrial channels a kick up the butt. ARD, ZDF, RTL and ProSieben still are too lazy to broadcast both audio tracks (original English and the dubbed German) over cable.

I should get a discount on my TV license. In fact everyone should get a discount, just because German TV is so bad. It's like torture. Except for Tatort. They get a free pass.

Tatort also seams to get worse every year. I like that we at least also have a german version of Shark Tank now. Although it is not as good at least for now.

Unfortunately it shows as playing by default, which is obviously not true if you have ’Click to Play’ enabled in Chrome (load plugins on demand).
