Why use telescreens to watch people when you can just monitor the methods they use to communicate what they're doing? Seems like a pretty reasonable comparison in a way.
I would be very surprised if at least one foreign agency at least has not already hacked into both Verizon and AT&T ... one could argue that the US govt has at least been trying to do it (semi) legitimately just to keep up.
Meaningless. Goldman Sachs got the prediction for New Zealand completely wrong along with many other countries. WSJ correctly predicted NZ's total number of medals including the exact number of golds. Maybe I should write an article about that?
