I think it is a wise solution, especially if we are trying to prevent Corona from spreading while also reducing the global damage form an eventual Akira incident.
I must admit, my children (girl 5yrs and boy 3yrs) learned a bit with apps. Two good examples are animal names and sounds (for ages <2, and games with rules or strategies for >2 (mplus point for games like memory, because the child can't cheat, and develops quite fast his/her own strategy for efficient problem-solving).
I saw this before, and the explanation is quite simple: the picture change is itself a post (seen by X people), but Facebook adds up also the previous likes to the picture. So only 2 people saw the post about the profile picture change, and the likes are total to the picture.
