Or maybe mandate that every law has an expiration date, no more than x years in the future (x being some value shorter than a legislators term).
You're right, gun registration is the moral equivalent of chattel slavery. Even though it doesn't exist in my state, or in fact in most states. And clearly, gun registration is the obvious effect of the Civil War.
I don't see how it was an obvious effect of the civil war, the first registration legislation came shortly after prohibition in the form of the National Firearms Act under the argument that it was need to help control the mob.
Yep, makes perfect sense: develop a cheap, cost-effective nuclear reactor design with someone who is a big competitor to the US, and who our children will most likely have to fight a war against. Yeah, perfect sense.
Gotta say - the whole breastfeeding-prevents-ovulation myth needs to be ended. I have two children 11 months apart, a third a year and a half after the second. All of my children were breastfed - and it didn't stop ovulation.
