If you are going to use python for ML. Use the python package from Entthought [http://www.enthought.com/products/epd_free.php]

It has most of the libraries, out of the box.

this is great. i always felt that the most common webpages we visit would be great if they were to be rendered in terminal in text only; hackernews,reddit,news,mail etc.

One of the reasons for the negative comments might be the sheer number of applications being developed and showcased.

Hence, many of the projects tend to bring in some deja-vu and the commenters are drawn to the lack of features more than usual.
