Docker support is great on Windows! I'd definitely advise you to use Docker with Docker Compose. Docker Compose makes Docker function like Vagrant.

A novice can easily install Docker for Mac/Windows, it includes Docker Compose and even has a GUI that will guide users in setting up a hyperviser.

There's actually an extension which can do this: https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=steoates....

Try Visual Studio Code. It's an Electron app, just like Atom, but it's a LOT faster. It's open open source too (https://github.com/Microsoft/vscode).

Um, your points about Bower/NPM and Webpack are not really correct.

NPM is the de facto package manager for JavaScript these days. Some points on why NPM is a better choice: https://gofore.com/ohjelmistokehitys/stop-using-bower/.

So on to Webpack, Webpack is not only for minifying JS. Webpack can actually be seen as a replacement for Gulp/Grunt. With the use of plugins you can compile Sass or TypeScript or use Babel to transpile your ES6/7 code to ES5 etc..

Agreed! I just wish tables were supported. I actually have to export it to a .docx and then add the tables :/. I asked them a while back and they said they weren't planning on supporting tables any time soon.

Well, that's no fun! Tables are handy for writing (particularly of the tech. sort). Hopefully they get to it.

You can get Windows 10 Enterprise via MSDN (https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/subscriptions/downloads/hh4...). You can get MSDN for free if you have a startup with less than $1M of revenue via BizSpark.

Thanks for the pointer. MSDN would cost $1200 for 2 years (https://www.visualstudio.com/products/how-to-buy-vs) which would provide perpetual licenses for development purposes.

http://lemingtonit.com/services/FAQMVLS.aspx says that a volume license agreement starts with a minimum of 5 licenses, but they can be different SKUs, including low-cost ones.

Pluralsight has lots of courses on Angular. I can definitely recommend them. John Papa has a few courses on there as well.

Can I turn off the lock screen notification and banners though? So like this: http://imgur.com/CYWeuHz.

The website is ridiculously slow for me in Safari.

I can recommend using Imgur for storing screenshots. For Windows you can use Greenshot (http://sourceforge.net/projects/greenshot/) and for OS X you can use Mac2Imgur (https://github.com/mileswd/mac2imgur).

Uploading images is instant, the image quality is higher, embedding is actually possible, you don't need to have an account and thumbnails are automatically generated.

This has been my solution, too. It's much faster than Dropbox.
