I had a github page that was public, but it was made private and the DNS config was removed. Fast forward to today. I made the private repo public again and forced a deploy of the page without making a new commit. It said the DNS config was incomplete, so I tweaked it and hit "check again" and github went down.
According to the Missouri health department, marijuana products without added Vitamin E were failing the safety test because they contained naturally occurring Vitamin E.
So specifically for marijuana products they increased the allowable amount.
I don't really understand why they decided this though. Their reasoning suggests that they think natural occurring poison is less harmful than added poison ?
I initially posted a wrong comment, but after a more careful re-reading, I think their argument is Vitamin E Acetate is bad. But Vitamin E (non-acetate) is fine. Now, I don't know whether that's true or not.
> It was determined that raising the VEA [Vitamin E Acetate] action limit to 5ppm (0.0005% by weight) accounts for any naturally occurring vitamin E, which has not been identified as a health and safety concern upon inhalation and prevents false failures for VEA screening

Google definitely collects more data, but TikTok’s data goes directly to China Government. Does same happen with Google? Maybe. However, in case of both of them doing that, from my perspective unfriendly/enemy country collecting that data is worse .
Is your data potentially going to a foreign government not known for extraterroritorial judicial overreach worse than your data going to your local government for longterm storage and profiling?
