Anyone know how this library handles caching?

Rather than building cacheing in, AFNetworking is designed to work with NSURLCache. I strongly recommend Peter Steinberger's [SDURLCache](https://github.com/steipete/SDURLCache) fork, which includes disk cacheing on iOS.

That should be a great idea (I started down that path too), but have you run into the problems I describe with NSURLCache at http://stackoverflow.com/questions/7166422/nsurlconnection-o... ?

At last.

Just me or does that sound awfully close to Apple's marketing language? "We think the benefits are going to be huge."?

Thanks, I was gonna say the same thing. :)

If it's really a first principle then there should be only one of them. This is very important if you want to understand the world completely.

Why would you want passion? The thing you should look for is interest. Passion only means that they don't have the necessary information to tell if what they are doing is reckless or not.

Interesting.let me clarify my case. What I have seen so far is that most developers around want to ship 3 products a year for 3 different industries. They are all over the place. Cannot commit to solving a specific problem for a specific industry for an extended period of time.

So my thinking is maybe if the guys are passionate about the problem/ industry and not just interested in learning to do a lot of stuff, we would have a better shot at succeeding.

Correct me if there is a flaw in my understanding.

Sounds great but,

"There is no amount of training that would make up for the talent we’d extinguish by teaching them how to write annual reviews."

Leadership has nothing to do with writing annual reviews.

I heard that leadership means gathering people's power to accomplish a goal.

So while leadership may mean management, management is not inherently leadership.

Leadership and management are orthogonal. There are managers who couldn't lead their team out of a paper bag, and there are great leaders with "Intern" on their business cards.

More importantly, there are leaders who aren't even _good_ at management tasks. Just because everyone trusts your opinion on architectural design doesn't mean you should be assigning tasks, or prioritizing the backlog.
