> A Go / C program will run directly on the OS

https://go.dev/doc/faq#runtime

It should start with a clean or modern Android since most app carry tech debts.

One annoyed UX I dislike about Firefox is swipe back on iOS. Firefox team should fix their swipe back which go to previous page, it also lead to page refresh, and caused the scroll lose its position.

This deliver a poor experience when implementing History API compare to Safari and Google on iOS that work as expected.

It should be ends with .offline

I’m not sure how to feel about this warning notice?

“This product can expose you to chemicals including Nickel (Metallic), which is known to the State of California to cause cancer, and Bisphenol A (BPA), which is known to the State of California to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm. For more information go to www.P65Warnings.ca.gov“

Well, for more information, you can go ot https://www.p65warnings.ca.gov

The warnings are required by a 1986 statewide proposition, numbered 65, for chemicals posing chancer, birth defect, or other reproductive harm, and though they're obligatory only if the risk is greater than 1:100,000 over a 70 year lifespan, many companies feel it's safer to include the warnings regardless to avoid nondisclusure actions.

You can find a similar listing for, say, Apple, Inc.'s products, running to 25 pages:

>I’m not sure how to feel about this warning notice?

Is that because these warnings are so ubiquitous they've lost all meaning?

Aren't these types of warnings everywhere in California? So much so that nobody takes them seriously as the warnings are everywhere.

Isn't BPA an issue mostly when it comes to food containers and drink holders. Specifically when holding hot items the BPA can leach into the food?

I see a similar warning on balsamic vinegar, and I've seen it at a Starbucks for coffee.

It's like the hazard warnings I've read on the SDS for water :)

They are not the right comparison, but we get your point.

Please explain how it's "not the right comparison".

The parent listed static site generators including Gatsby, Hugo, and Jekyll. I suggested NextJS is a superior option to those 3, because (among many other things) it supports "export" of a fully static, pre-rendered site, which puts it -- unambiguously! -- in the "JAMstack SSG tools" category. So I'm baffled by the downvotes, and your dismissal.

What am I missing? Thanks in advance!

PS Edit to add: NextJS is even listed, as the 1st result, in the parent's jamstack link!

Thanks, @aendruk -- ok, that issue is a legit reason for some people, in some cases, to prefer a dedicated SSG-only tool over NextJS. But it's not a reason to leave NextJS off the list altogether.

A quick benchmark, Vmctl has fare slight lower/better latencies than Parallels.

I was diagnosed with Sudden Sensorineural Hearing Loss years ago and haven’t found any cures despite some kind of Chinese acupuncture wasn’t of help.

I as well was diagnosed with SSH about a year and a half ago. This was shortly after I fell on my head in a yoga handstand class. I went to an Audiologist/ENT and was classified as having Meniere's and ultimately there was nothing I could do according to the doctors. I accepted this as truth because that's what the experts say and my Meniere's wasn't so bad at the time. Over time, the symptoms got worse and it was unbearable. My quality of life was at the lowest point of my existence and I had to do something. I did some research and found an article documenting people with Meniere's and how a specific niche of Chiropractic has helped them. This isn't the original article, but it's a copy of it:

https://drthomasforest.com/menieres-disease-treatment/

I did my research and started going to this doctor and within weeks I was getting relief. Now it's been about 6 months since I started treatment and I would say my hearing is back to normal for about 2 months now. I'm not saying this would resolve your SSH issues, but it's an avenue worth looking at especially if the article makes sense to you.

Yea same, correcting my posture and doing some mind-body work has made my symptoms go away basically. I'm still improving to this day almost a year later.

Alternative to Go, the ease of talking to C could get simple, V language which transpile into C code with minimal overhead, still infancy at this stage, the end goals is to translate C source to readable V code.

You may be surprise to know who is Heydon who co-author in the article.

IE11 is meant for supporting legacy sites and Microsoft doesn’t recommend consumers to use it. It make sense to work on Grid and Flexbox for new sites.
