Retool needs a retool.

Wrong - please do your research and fight ignorance.

The author mentioned YAML but never once brought up CSS.

This article feels more like a rant if anything and illustrates the author misunderstanding of the purpose of the language.

It's becoming infuriating as the mobile experience is god-awful.

Your website theme seems to be similar to many others lately re: the cartoon figures etc. Is this a free/paid/opensource template?

The one on the website if I recall correctly was mostly designed in house. Gonna double check that with the designer. The blog post image was taken from https://icons8.com/illustrations (free). There are actually a lot of free illustration libraries nowadays. One of my favorite is https://undraw.co/

Thanks!

The article states the flywheel will not be used to provide electricity to the grid.

Of course it provides electricity to the grid. It doesn't provide any NET energy to the grid, since it's not a generator. It will pull and push energy to the grid in small amounts as needed to regulate the frequency, which is directly related to the voltage of the grid.

If the matter of pay is the only thing keeping the engineers there, this feels more like a problem with the business model or company culture.

How is this different than all the others that fail to deliver?

Man, your PR seems to suffer from corp speak and is something you would expect from a fortune 100 middle executive and not a recently launched startup. Dare to be human.

Came here pretty much to see if anyone would make this comment. Kudos

Thank you for your feedback. This is an important, often overlooked, topic.
