Yes. From one of the comment:

Japan economy has not been depressed. Stagnant maybe, but over the last decade unemployment rate was only 5%.

That's right. The main problem is deflation. Monetary policy has been effective in the last year, but increasing sales taxes could wipe all of that progress out.

So I'm depressed, not Japan. :)

The Cochrane review on omega-3 fats in 2004[1] didn't find any clear benefit concerning Mortality/Cardiovascular problems/Cancer.

Follow-up studies, such as this 12,000 person RCT [1], have not been any more favorable towards omega-3 fatty acids.

When my patients ask me if they should take omega-3 capsules, I tell them that it depends on whether they enjoy paying for them. (Some do.)

Looking for a Business/Marketing cofounder.

I built http://www.memobuild.com, an online editor for technical books and documents. I'm working on a good launch and customer acquisition plan, and could use some help.

The product is already usable and very polished, it's actually a pivot from an e-learning editor I did for several years. With the right marketing execution it could grow to profitability fast. Contact is in my profile.

Interesting thing to notice. Probably just a coincidence but if it was set in purpose it would be really genius evil.

Isn't LyX WYSIWYG ? Personally I would say it is. (and also @vancomycin below). Sure there is also the "WYSIWYM" category, but it's more of a pun and not broadly known.

LyX is not WYSIWYG and I'm not sure how to argue this point. What you see in the editor window doesn't look like the paginated output - it's not really up to someone's opinion to decide.

It's not the paginated output but it's close, especially compared to LaTeX code. And I believe many people understand WYSIWYG broadly as a point and click interface with visual feedback, in contrast to writing some code.

We're beta-testing an online editor for technical documents, if you want to join we would be glad to have you (email/url in my profile). If you'd prefer a more DIY solution, in addition to LaTeX you should also check out asciidoc, it seems to support a lot of what you're after.
