I see what you did there ;) One idea from the book that stuck with me is that we are too often in a rush to get this or that done, so we can move on with our life. Instead, we can take the time to do it the right way and find some kind of happiness in the process.

>If there's any problem with your flight you're up shit creek if you have to deal via a third party.

I have learned that the hard way. My flight was cancelled and I don't get any notification. There is a real communication issue between OTAs and airlines. After a week of poking the customer service, I got a refund from Opodo, fortunately.

I notice it did not go down despite the HN hug of death !

I recently tried to register for an Apple developer account, and it has been the most infuriating process I've been through on the internet... and I am used to the French govt websites! At some point, the H1 title was in white on a light grey background, and I considered sending a screenshot to Jonathan Ive. To this day, I did not succeed registrating.

Absolutely. We have a NextJS website and we faced some SEO problems due to Google bot not being able to get to some pages. To be fair, we used too much sliders.

I'm with you!

Not available in EU, so...

I have worked with one of those freaks last year. She argued that every block had to be exactly like it was on Figma, and she once sent me a screenshot with a little ruler drawn on it, to show me a 3px gap. It was such a waste of time and energy...

How _do_ you get a 3px gap though?

I learn so much on HN.

They are kind of saying that they have become such a behemoth, with so much bureaucracy and inefficiency, that the only way they could move so fast is by building a sub team. Kudos for being honest.
