It’s all fun and games until you have to dodge the fent zombies walking to the office.

Where are those fent zombies going to go instead?

Prison (3 strikes type laws) or poorer areas that police herd them to.

Away from normal productive people by any means necessary. Who cares about them, I care about the normal people being harassed and having their quality of life go down. People like you are what have made cities a mess and unlivable.

Mom has the dementia and I have t2d. I started looking and discovered one of the meds I’m on already is one of these sglt-2 deals. So yay!

Holy shit, me too.

Me three, although my procedure did not result in quite so dramatic an improvement. I saw a PCP for the first time in several years, and was 180/130. Four meds (vasodilator, calcium channel blocker, diuretic, and beta blocker) brought that down to 130-140/80-90. After removing an adrenal gland, I'm in that same range with three meds (same three minus the beta blocker, which never did much anyway).

Regarding this potassium paper, it's interesting that it primarily concerns itself with sodium and potassium intake. I don't know that any reasonable change to my intake could have overcome the effects of aldosterone overproduction, but wouldn't the recommended changes to your diet depend on measuring your current balance?

I’m on three meds still, but generally run ~ 120/80. My K levels are now 4.3 mmol/L. Much better than the low 3s I had before.

During the work up I had to drink 18g/day of the foulest liquid ever to get my K levels high enough for the adrenal vein sampling to be valid.

I’m just waiting for an alternative. I’d happy run a *nix on my desktop if I didn’t have to use X11 and could have real apps to run.

I’m about to be forced to use windows for the first time in 20 years and I’m seriously dreading it.

At the same time, I’m sick of apples stranglehold on the iPhone. It’s my phone, let me do what I want with it.

I’ve tried using android stuff a bit (bought a Samsung tablet for obd2 stuff), and it left me wanting to scream and throw things.

I miss my 04-08 Mac experience that didn’t suck. And don’t tell me the new stuff is more reliable - the other day I had to power cycle my m1max mbp as the keyboard stopped responding.

So take k2 with your d3

Schmidt can go kick a rock

It would also help If they didn’t change the layout every 6 months.

Beef: it’s a pain killer, not a fix.

Yeah, it doesn't seem to explain how doing something about the pain receptors is actually fixing the issue; it improves quality of life, sure, but does it fix the cause and repair or avoid damage?

That is, if it's only suppressing pain, the people suffering will do more things that may cause more cartilege damage. (disclaimer: I don't know much about arthritis so I may be wrong)

Until I started doing things to help my knees, the stuff I was doing, that I covered with NSAIDs actively made things worse.

I’ve had osteoarthritis in my knees since I was 16. At 27 I was opened up and told I had worn grooves through the cartilage and into the bone (I guess that’s why it hurt to ride a bike).

Doc told me quite literally to sit on a couch. Instead I took up karate, and the enforced stretching there relieved a ton of the pain. It didn’t fix anything, and i’d still get knee pain when riding a bike (I cut way back) or running, but my every day experience was tolerable.

In the past few years I started going to a functional fitness gym, and our coach got me towing a sled backwards- THAT fixed up my knees. Something about it has let my knees repair, and I haven’t had knees that felt this good sinc3 at least 1990.

We use tape over the left eye of my youngest’s eye pro when he’s shooting a rifle. He’s cross eye dominant and scotch tape on the glasses is cheaper than a left handed rifle.

You need to take a pistol class from Shrek (sob tactical). He will change your way of thinking about your eyes and shooting
