This python API into Delicious could give you a place to start:

Unfortunately Delicious will throttle you if you hit the service more often than once a second so you might not be able to get too much valuable information.


Interesting comment because I've read that one of Apple's visions with their mobile devices is to get rid of the traditional hierarchical filesystem.


Oh really? I had not heard that, I'm going to have to google around for some articles on this, I'm interested to read up on it. Thanks for the heads up!

That is not how filesharing is implemented on the iPad. I built an iPad app based on the initial (beta SDK) description & I basically gave up on using the file sharing feature once I saw how incredibly incompetent the current implementation is. Apple really dropped the ball here.


Awesome! Having the iPad show up as a share is great and definitely a step in the right direction. Having all files available to all your devices as the default (and with browser synch) is the holy grail imho.
