Urbana card is accepted also for public bike rental system and for city operated parking garages, and street level parking meters.

It also holds my gym monthly pass and unlocks the lockers there.

Pretty versatile card :)

Treat plugins as separate and independent modulse, just as you would in any other project and put each plugin into their own git repository.

~3000 people in first room and ~1500 in second room.

About 12 of us here in room G :P

They mentioned, just before this talk, that there are 6,000 people in the first room. edit: I guess I misunderstood, but it's still impressive that they filled the place up after just 2 years at this conference center :)

Actually, it was "6000 people at this site, today" -- he wasn't very clear. I think they're expecting another 2000-3000 to show up over the next days at least, making it biggest CCC ever by far. I'd estimate more like 1-3k in the room itself.

Specs for rooms: http://www.cch.de/en/organise/rooms-and-spaces/at-a-glance/?... (Hall1 and 2) that are both full.

Cmd +/- works fine for me on Chrome 26.0.1410.65 on OS X on the article page. Maybe something else is going on?

I'm on chome on windows 7 and ctrl+ works for everything except the article body text...

It zooms the images for me, but not the text. Does the body text enlarge for you?

In my experience it's enough to version control custom parts of wp-content (you theme, your un-published plugins) as everything else is better left to Wordpress one-click updater.

Their blog post on 'Testing on the toilet' - http://googletesting.blogspot.com/2008/08/tott-100-and-count...

Does this also mean that they can't play Diablo 3?

If I try to zoom the screen on chrome/increase font size the boxes/buttons stay the same size. This looks like accessibility issues.

Here's a free Hex Color Picker that 'works for me' - http://wafflesoftware.net/hexpicker/

I run it through Alfred - cmd+space -> type "color picker" and it's in the selected pane.
