Easy to move it back if I do want to convert back to fiat at a later date?

Being in product and engineering management for more than a decade, Linear is hands down the best tool I’ve used for ticketing. It would be hard for me to work somewhere if I wasn’t able to use it. Features are well designed, the tool is delightful to use and the design is world class. Also, there isn’t a tool I use that feels faster - it’s like they know what I’m about to click on before I do.

I'm (slightly) biased, but wanted to mention that Sid is an exceptional engineer, manager, and a pleasure to work with.

Second this, and not just for fashion. I went through amplify.LA at our geospatial analytics startup, Mapsense. The amplify folks were some of our best investors.

August Health | Account Executive / Customer Success | Distributed team (USA-based) | Full-time

August Health is an early-stage company that builds technology to enhance quality of care for our elders. We're looking for the second sales hire to join our team and help us create a repeatable sales motion within our core target customer base. So far all sales have been founder-led, but we've been overwhelmed with opportunities and are looking to scale up quickly.

There’s enormous opportunity to tackle major white space accounts, define process and sales strategy, onboard and coach new reps and work with the founders. More here: https://www.notion.so/augusthealth/Account-Executive-2bfb907...

We're also on the lookout for our second customer-success hire. We're growing fast enough that we're starting to focus on setting up repeatable implementation/onboarding processes and streamlining customer success to helping our customers do well. More here: https://www.notion.so/augusthealth/Implementation-and-Succes....

August Health is very well funded by a group of top tier Silicon Valley investors and is working with some of the largest senior care organizations in the Bay Area and across California. We’re on a mission to promote compassionate personal care for frail elders while transforming the way the industry operates. We’re helping communities move through a much needed digital transformation so that all resident care, operating information, and compliance risk are housed within the August Health platform rather than a notebook or file cabinet. We're scaling quickly and this is a real opportunity to join a quickly growing startup.

That's one interpretation of this article, but the other is that we can't really build anything big in this country anymore because of red-tape, regulations, and competing government fiefdoms.

From the article: "They point with frustration and embarrassment to successes in countries around the globe — particularly China, which has built more than 20,000 miles of high-speed rail in about two decades."

Sure - nobody wants a $100B high speed rail line between Fresno and Merced. But why can't we build what everybody actually wants - a high speed rail between SF and LA with a reasonable price and timeline? This isn't an issue of engineering, it's an issue of management.

Because voters naturally want what is impossible. The answer is educate voters, but voters label efforts to educate them about such realities as rank partisanship and continue to vote for the same people who promise them high speed rail will be completed in 3 more years, ad infinitum. IMO of course.

unfortunately, any propose to educate or "responsibilize" voters in today climate can be seen as racist/bad, expecially if "progressives" turfs are at stake. Wrong?

Simpler than that, fiscal responsibility should not be a partisan issue. A 100 billion dollar train from nowhere to nowhere means 100 billion taken away from efforts to address homelessness, fight childhood poverty, safeguard community health, improve fire management, address environmental concerns, etc.
