I posted a similar thought to Linkedin awhile back. It would be great if we flipped the model to something that protects the user, first: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/20140609151247-16668613-apps-...

same. pbs has an actual explanation about 7 links down.

I agree. I always say 'work to live, don't live to work', which is my way of saying the same thing.

I liked this as well: 'I had been dreaming all my life, but I felt like I was finally free to dream'. This is where I am at in life right now, and it is beautiful.

ah but i have. and these are web apps. deploying them on the chrome web store is a cinch.

How sure are you that Dropbox is more reliable than Google Drive? As sure as you are that Google Drive is just a drop in the bucket for Google?

i use a chromebook. problem solved.

Nope. Problem worsened. Now they can just demand access to your google account.

it is proper to remove them or place them atop your head like you do with sunglasses indoors. also, i doubt people were doing anything but staring down or straight ahead in the urinals. it would be weird for someone without glass to be doing what he describes in a bathroom. just saying..

can you characterize what makes their support "the absolute worst support of any business application/suite I've ever used" with examples?

that is not the general consensus of google apps customers, so i am curious what experiences have caused you to have this opinion.

Yup - Google hardens consumer for the enterprise.

it's way easier to just look up and talk than to pull a device out of your pocket, unlock it, pull down notifications/open an app, then interact with the device. it will save you minutes everyday with that process alone.

I guess I could see that being a demanding and time consuming task if I had no arms.
