I launched http://paasifier.co last month. It's a open platform where developers can find the best Platform-as-a-Service for their apps by selecting runtime (Java, Ruby, Go, etc.) and database (MySQL, MongoDB, etc.). In the first days I got more than 1K visits and I'm trying to monetize it by using affliate marketing for PaaS Providers.

Nice work. Could you share some ideas, for a small site like yours, how did you market it at the beginning to get your first 1K visits, how much effort have you put into marketing?
