Hoplark Hoptea (sparkling hoppy tea) is another good alternative I have found, and is lower in calories and comes in varieties that are caffeinated or not. I'll note that I tried Athletic's hoppy sparkling water and Lagunita's and neither was nearly as good. Though I will say overall, all of them seem too expensive to be buying on a regular basis unless they can really cut out more expensive beer for you.

The national government is providing the drug for free and thus no one is allowed to charge for it. The provider can bill for the administration of the vaccine. If a patient has insurance, the admin is billed to the insurance. If not, it's billed to a government program called HRSA. At my hospital I have been told that if any insurance company tries to pass on a portion of the administration as copay/coinsurance/deductible that we need to flag that payment to call the insurance company because they aren't allowed to do that.

Just as a heads up in case you or anyone else reading this is in this position. For the uninsured, if your treatment is directly related to Covid-19, you would be covered under the Covid-19 HRSA program described here. https://www.hrsa.gov/CovidUninsuredClaim

This is a huge relief; thank you for bringing this to my attention!

This is incorrect per the article. It clearly states "Wednesday's rule change by the US Department of Transportation now says only dogs qualify as service animals."

So no, the airlines don't have to accept someone's service animal that isn't a dog.

I didn't say they did.

Someone here on HN made this some time ago, but it still emails me weekly: https://harvestsignal.com/

Just the other night my driver turned too wide and started going the wrong way down the divided street. He u-turned and fixed it without any issue thankfully, but then he blamed it on the construction workers "moving the road" - which they definitely didn't.

I mean, that's not great, but I would take that over my SuperShuttle experience. At least your driver wasn't falling asleep repeatedly, despite apparently regularly spaced prompts from the company app to confirm he was awake.

Wireless charging for next to your bed makes it worth it. You just set it down on the charger and if you need to pick it up to answer a call you don't have to deal with the plug. And then when you're finished you just set it back down again without having to deal with the plug.

Same for if you're working at a desk you can just set it down on the charger when you're not using it 95% of the time.

Around the time states were closing non-essential businesses they were claiming to be essential and requiring the stores to stay open.

"False, there is the possibility of me awarding you prize B. So here's prize C"

The answer is false and evaluation is true until the prize is actually given. Then the answer becomes true and the evaluation false.

I wonder if the question could be reworded somehow to say that the prize being awarded and the statement being evaluated true/false will happen at the same instant without taking the fun out of it.

Many people hate open offices but continue to take jobs where they will be working in an open office. Until companies can directly see the open office setup as a detriment to hiring or retention, companies will continue to utilize them to save money.

I don't expect to see them disappear completely anytime soon.

Would you ever turn down a job because of the office layout? I'm not sure if I would, and also not sure what jobs are out there where I could have my own office.

Absolutely would unless this was the only offer on the table. I suspect I'm not the only person who took a paycut to move to a WFH job.

I'm not suggesting covid-19 is just an excuse to eradicate open offices. I really think it poses a health risk in the world going forward, now that we have witnessed what a pandemic means.

I would if I could but I can't afford to be that picky.
