Same here! It's saved us a tremendous amount of time for screenshots, especially when dealing with different sized viewports. Happy to see CSS3 is supported in 2.0 :)

A big thanks to PhantomJS devs!

AWESOME!!! Congrats to the team, Firebase has been a pleasure to use from day one. The Angular fire integration has allowed me to prototype ideas in hours as opposed to days. THANK YOU, for creating such clear documentation, clear video presentations. The google acquisition makes it a easier to sell to some of the higher ups now, :P. YAY!

2232 days ago, I also saw a post on Techcrunch... Discovered a whole new world.

Interesting how a small tiny link can lead to information that can reshape your entire reality.

Looks pretty cool. Personally prefer the Read [1] chrome extension approach, as it has a minimal UI and sits on top of the page. Also, think the red color is slightly distracting, when north of 700 WPM.

Plivo sip implementation is great, played with their API, on a few side projects and their documentation is straight forward.

Support is excellent, highly recommend their sip API. Especially since they are showing devs a ton of love,

Love Tesla and the Model S is short of amazing, just wish more manufactures would adopt apple's product line mantra, simplicity.

Way to many options to choose from, make it easy guys.

Apple has a ton of SKUs. The iPad 2 alone is offered in 18 variations (White/Black, 3G/Wifi, CDMA/GSM, 16/32/64GB). Want a MacBook? There are nine models to choose from (4 Airs and 5 Pros) and each come with a bunch of customizations (CPU, RAM, HD, accesseries, etc).

But Apple tends to show off 1 or two models and let you choose the options yourself. Tesla should just focus on two models and leave the options below the fold.

They do... This is the "Options" page. Here's the Model S homepage:

Apple has gnarly comparison pages too:

I think it's hard to compare to Apple because they don't make cars. People spending > $50,000 on a car will tend to want more choices than people spending $500 on an iPad.

Agree 100%. The whole thing feels backwards, a lazy bandaid.

What's next, using a bridle to control a car?

The original invitation did clearly state it was geared towards jobs seekers under the premise of a meetup. YC even asked for your resume, and one of the qualifying questions was related to your interest to apply. Not sure why OP is surprised.

PG delivered, if you observe his prior interviews you will notice that is his style. Personally, it feels authentic, and transparent. A trait many speakers lack.

The serendipitous nature of the event added to the allure, it encouraged folks to have a conversation.

Video department could of used some help but that's just nitpicking.

This all comming from someone who didn't get invited, yet drove from Philly, one of the first one there, waited in line, and was magically allowed in.

Well done, YC.

Someone else mentioned resume that I met there, but I don't recall seeing that. I definitely didn't submit a resume. Was this for all applicants?

It was in the second page of the invite request form, I believe the qualifying question was in regard to your interest to applying for a job at YC startup. Second page requested your resume, at least for me.

More like the YC Mafia.

Biggest take away for me last night was the importance of a strong community. A support system that encourages risking it all to change the world. Oxygen to a startup.

YC culture seem to resonate with every startup that presented. Well done.

Python seems to be working on Heroku already, not sure if its officially supported. https://gist.github.com/1004844

until then there's a good list for django http://www.quora.com/What-is-the-Heroku-equivalent-for-Djang...

Last time I tried one of those gists, it plain didn't work. Not sure if the gist I tried was outdated by then or if things are working now.

Hi, I am a cofounder of Genforma http://genforma.com and we offer django paas. our deployment and management infrastructure is now open source (see https://github.com/genforma/engage), please take a look!
