i am working on a similar project to lotrproject.com or a newer example would be www.witchernetflix.com but my project would be for any book (or universe) in general. (e.g. my fav. book series malazan book of the fallen). You could describe it as wiki with fancy UI i guess
i am kinda conflicted about all the "english first" comments. Isnt this just a blubble / echo chamber ? Arent there eco systems of software not based on english we just dont know about? Millions of coders in the east?
on the other hand, human langues (like programming languages) are just a tool in the box right? Dont hold on to your old tool just because.
slower compared to what? as far as i can tell the sites wouldnt get slower than before, they just would not use the full potential of HTTP2 , which makes them slower compared to the optimum? hmmm
