Where are those companies who ask such questions, and not for a embedded software engineer role but for someone higher up stack. I wish I knew

One thing to consider: Google Pay, at least now, checks if bootloader is unmodified. This means it wont't work for you on many devices if you prefer installing pure android (like AOSP) instead of vendor provided. Uniting online payments under one google Pay umbrella will make experience for such people (me including) worse. Would be nice if Googlers would consider this.

Agreed. The amount of boilerplate is reduced significantly in Kotlin. it has builder methods also which help greatly with data classes like apply(), with() and let() for us it became language of choice for backend for these reasons

If you’re considering relocation as an option, check out http://bit.ly/2yKvfrK. I think you may well find some interesting job opportunity there.

As a programmer you have knowledge which can guide you to make a donation to organization that does something important for many people. They just don't realize that, but you do. Donate to EFF that fights for net neutrality, or some other organization of your choice. And just do your normal work, to have money for that. Thats the way I prefer personally, yesterday I have made my first donation, ever. And kind of proud of it.

If only there was a way to disable fb messages altogether, otherwise people who will be sending me messages there, will be distracted, and I will be the one to blame...
