I'd imagine through trade, much like how it seems to be the explanation for why most languages call "tea" some variation of te, cha, or chai.

Yes most probably through trade. Check the provided video link on the ancient Pompeii, based on the archeological evidences they had trading activities with other Asian countries including India. It is already known that the Chams already settled in Vietnam during Pompeii time. Their ports popularity at the time probably similar to Singapore today and Singapore is currently the busiest port in the world. Another fun fact is that the Chams ancient capital city is called Simhapura or Lion City, and Singapore original name is Singapura. My gut feeling is that Champa was either playing the role of Singapore today or conquered Singapore, at the time of Pompeii.

In addition to that, you might want/need to use only wired connections to your router and rip out any components that enable wireless.

How would opt-in work in practice? Say, if this gets pushed out on $CAFE public wifi for analytics. Would it be something akin to "tick this consent box to use the wifi"?

And if $CAFE tracks you regardless of you not ticking the box or connecting to the network, how do I detect that as a regular customer?

The Streisand effect strikes again!

If you can no longer innovate, litigate!

> *The Streisand Effect* strikes again!

Oh, those are the 3 words, apparently.

I think they mean you'll use 1/10th the amount of memory Chrome would use on your machine.

In childhood especially, the line between the virtual and the real is flimsier than you think.

Nintendo for some reason appears to have this effect on the generation that grew up w/ Super Mario World, Legend of Zelda and Donkey Kong.

I played these games at friends' houses back then and didn't see the appeal. Games like Need for Speed, Mortal Kombat or Goldeneye 007 felt more real, less 'kiddie' oriented. But these games aren't really spoken of much these days, while Nintendo originals definitely are.

Time doesn‘t treat all franchises equally.

Need For Speed is considered to be in decline. Mortal Kombat‘s making was a bit controversial with the whole “make employees watch graphic executions to nail the art”, now that in 2021 the focus is less on kids watching violence and more about not abusing employees. https://www.nintendolife.com/news/2019/05/one_mortal_kombat_...

Mario more or less has inspired the same kind of nice fuzzy feeling and polish that is the series’ mainstay. Breath of the Wild reimagined Zelda into an explorable open world to rave reviews.

Webflow, it seems (not OP).

Yes, this is built on Webflow + Jetboost, Zapier, Typeform, Mailchimp, and Stripe.

This looks really cool. The spaces I've found so far from the explore tab are delightfully wacky[0] and make me excited for what I can do with this.

Are there limits for how many cards can go on one space (with a subscription)? I couldn't find that in the help docs.

nope no limits, space size is limited to 6000x6000, but this is just a temporary technical restriction

Could you maybe link to a different space with your cluster of thoughts/cards there? I'm not sure if there's a limit for spaces.

yup you can put any link (including space links) in a card. And there's no card limit per space.

YMMV but I’ve seen Teachable used well in cases like this. That should allow you to avoid reinventing the wheel.
