Such a weasely email too. No mention of getting hacked. They just decided to contact me a year after I last used the service because they’re randomly concerned about my password.
Android app development just seems like such a hodgepodge of tools. Keeping Android SDK/NDK, Gradle, Kotlin, and Android Studio (plus all the associated plug-ins for each) working well is a full-time job.
Easily my favorite game of all time. Like many, my hardcore playing years were 1999-2004. Over the years I did drop into Project 1999^, and it’s always an amazingly fun bomb of nostalgia, but it falls short of the 99-04 era magic.
^ Still do, even just to hear the Kelethin music or to run from Kelethin to Erudin. I may just do that this weekend…
Is there a mature, production ready library for deploying deep neural networks in Rust? Searches end up being all over the place and end with a library that hasn’t been maintained in years.
Whew, glad I decided to scroll HN right now. I've been puzzling over why I'm getting "! [remote rejected] master -> master (Internal Server Error)" as well while trying to push and decided to take a break.
Don't you guys have other features and stuff to work on locally? What is this "time to take a break when GitHub is down"? I'm saying this a bit tongue in cheek btw :)
It's been like that for at least 6 hours, randomly appearing. I would take a pause and try again and then it would work, but now it's definitely much more persistent.
Having been on the receiving end of things like this: please, make the sleep longer. Adding more requests to already malfunctioning system is not a good way to help in fixing it.
Thanks but no thanks - no way am I doing anything to my core app repos when the repo host is fritzing out. This is one of those moments to go for a walk (or bed, depending on your timezone).
Also pretty much every usage of -f would be better off being --force-with-lease so you're less likely to accidentally clobber someone else's work. I have git fpush aliased to "push --force-with-lease" and try to spread the gospel when possible :)
I’m worried about JetBrains too. From what I can tell, only a small portion of their team (including the founders) are located outside Russia. That’s a lot of people left inside Russia to be pressured, manipulated, and abused into compliance.
