MySpace was never a cesspool... it's now a musician's website for posting about bands.

The only thing more stupid than the internet comments on Hacker News is Google itself: the kings of know-it-all dumbasses!

The "dumbass" you're talking about co-founded MySpace, and I don't think he's ever had any professional link to Google.

The first blog post was uneducated and old arguments. Of course you can make 1.7 oz burgers, but only the best can do that with .NET.

But this blog post is just rambling... Why isn't .NET used? Non-techies making technical decisions, or they're hipsters and want to join the PHP or Ruby pain train.

The fact is, .NET can allow you to develop faster than anything else, so these folks are casting about for excuses.

The alternative? Try CodeIgniter for PHP... that's a decent framework!

What's 'your MVP'? It looks and sounds like an app...

How does your RSS reader beat the competition? Anything of note?

I believe it stands for 'minimum viable product'[1]. Basically releasing a rough v1.0 that does the bare minimum, and then turning it into the real deal in the next major iteration.
