Even after doing the "type this to fix weird console ouput" I still have weird console output :(

Please explain your problem in detail. If possible, open an issue on GitHub (https://github.com/fish-shell/fish-shell/issues)

This is why I still use Winamp, nothing else comes close to dealing with playlists of thousands of items while also being fairly customisable.

Let us also not forget it's power to literally punish ungulates as well.

ConEmu is probably the best terminal for Windows at the moment, but it takes some customization to get there, and it has some strange concepts.

I'm not sure what the challenges involved are since I'm just a .NET guy who uses a debian home server, but I would switch to FreeBSD instantly if I could get utf-8 support in my irssi.

You saw plain XML because Chrome doesn't support RSS without a plugin.

Does not work on Opera 12.14 (thank you for trying to be accommodating though <3)

Yep, confirming it doesn't work for me either with Opera using the same version in Windows 7.

I'm a 6' male with a beard, used to have long hair too.

I always got selected for "randomized" searches when flying (in the UK). At UK airports everyone goes through a metal detector. It would always beep when I went through even if I took off my shoes and belt.

You can already increase the width of the console, you just need to use Properties menu.

No, from my reading of the guidelines I took that any form of persistent browser storage falls under them.

I'm not a lawyer though, just a British web developer who has had to comply with this law.

I'm fairly certain I was able to just 'aptitude install gitit' on debian stable, edit the config file and 'gitit -f gitit.conf' to be up and running.

Exactly. You should be able to do that. The libs that come from apt should be compatible with the applications that come from apt.

But you cannot grab some software sources from dev repos (e.g. git clone gitit) and then install the required libs from apt and expect it to work. It may work if all the dependency libraries are very mature and stable, but that's not usually the case.
