Thanks... Corrected!

Thanks for the feedback. I never said I am not going to add. This is the only reason I shared it here so that I can get some help in adding more units.

I have already added football field in length category. Will add more soon.

Thanks for the feedback. I will work on the UI part to improve user experience.

May be number of units and categories it supports. Plus I am adding more units.

I couldn't find a way of converting from US teaspoons to cubic light-seconds, which is my favorite demo of the GNU utility. Also, do you have a way of adding a time dimension to the conversions? E.g from kibibytes per day to megabits per second?

My favorite is millilightseconds<->miles, for calculating maximum distance to a server or minimum possible latency for a distance.

Are US teaspoons actually a different size to UK ones, or just the volume measurements?

1 US teaspoon is about 14.8 ml

1 UK teaspoon is about 17.8 ml.

It goes on: 1 US gallon is about 0.83 imperial gallons

A teaspoon is 5 ml. I think you're thinking of tablespoons.

Teaspoons aren't particularly common in the US. If you do need to stir a beverage or add sugar, you typically use a tablespoon.

Tableware sets in the US commonly come with at least two different sizes of spoon. These usually bear no relation to the "measuring spoons" used to measure volume, though they are handy for stirring tea or eating soup (for the small & large spoons, respectively).

For people who cook in the US, a set of "measuring spoons" is a very common kitchen tool.

"Teaspoon" and "Tablespoon" are units of measurement of volume, not bits of silverware. "Tea spoon" and "Table spoon" or "Soup spoon" are pieces of silverware, not units of measure!

The one you stir tea with is also probably smaller than a teaspoon (probably about half a teaspoon).

Yep, they're usually completely unrelated to the units of measure.

Seems like a weird statement. As someone who cooks and bakes, I use teaspoons all the time. Teaspoons for certain spices and seasonings are extremely common in recipes

Yeah, this isn't true. A teaspoon is a standard unit of measurement in US cooking.

units(1) is way more simpler to use though. Just type the input/output formulas and it will do the rest

Thanks for letting me know. I will add it by tomorrow. I will check all units mentioned in the comments and add them one by one.

its already added under length category.

Thank you, I will definitely add it.

Most of units contain very generic description because my goal was to work on the tool rather than the content part. But I will optimize it in the upcoming future since I am one guy managing everything.

> We have so many online tools available to convert Volume units, but not every online tool gives an accurate result and that is why we have created this online Volume converter tool.

Then it converts 231 in^3 to 0.99999994293884 U.S. gal, while 1 U.S. gal converts to 231 in^3.

Thanks for the feedback. This is why I shared it here so that I can improve it based on the feedback. I have fixed it.

Thanks for appreciation.

You will see the link just before the share buttons to switch conversion.

Still don’t see it (iOS, both iPhone and iPad).

I see 5 circular buttons: Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, WhatsApp, and a “Copy url to clipboard” one.

Just select any two units... the yellow color text will popup as shown in the image.
