Funny thing is that the other company was a serious contributor to the android ecosystem was Huawei.
I can even dare say that they were even more serious than Samsung.
Google's lack of support for non smartphone OS will give Huawei an opening.
Huawei would probably have 90 % of the 5G equipment market if this smear campaign had not started.
They were even beating Nokia and Ericsson in their respective home markets
And yet China's relative success is due to protectionism (or failed antitrust in USA/EU).
In a "winner takes all" situation, how else can the EU compete ? (The US did protectionism too while their industries were fledgling, to avoid getting crushed by the British...)
I have a theory: If a country has an IQ of 95 or above, sanctions would likely prove ineffective in halting the acquisition of specific technologies within such a society.
Obviously not. I’m saying China wouldn’t be able to make use of their unlimited government funding and rare earth minerals without stealing innovation from the US.
I'm laughing at your comment because you seem to assume that China is doing nothing in EUV. I have somewhat inside knowledge and I can tell you that they have multiple teams working on multiple approaches. From SSMB to LPP, they are leaving nothing to chance.
I have been repeatedly pointing out that we don’t know, not claiming that they aren’t making progress. Do you deliberately misread your insider information as well?
Proton Mail's extremely bureaucratic operational deafness, and their glacial pace of product features and open-sourcing, would certainly lend support to that idea.
I actually wish this was true. I want an email service that would last forever and is secure enough from my threats, namely security breaches of the email host and account takeover from non state actors.
Gmail is close enough, but I want an alternative. An email service run by the nsa or the cia would be great.
