The location shown for a french city is always "Arrondissement de <city>" except for Paris.

I will look into that. Currently setting up the Google Maps API with autocomplete, that should improve the location picking.

Neither do I and I'm also french. I've checked on the french wiktionary[1] and in fact that's a real french saying. But I've never heard someone say this in my all life.
