I find this sort of paper suspect when there aren't even necessarily general equilibria existence results for quantum games, but maybe thats just me wanting to only use toy models when the underlying framework is robust enough in its existence of equilibria guarantees that it'd be possible to scale the model up to representing the actual phenomena
