Well, they removed the ability to connect local rdp pcs as well (in the Windows version). Their recommendation is to continue using mstsc.

MS naming's confusing until you make mental substitutions.

The "preview" is not part of the product name. It's available to some during preview period.

The substitution here is "Windows 365 Link" => (Windows 365) thin client.

The name that tripped me up the most was Windows Subsystem for Linux which is read as Windows' (Subsystem for Linux) not (Windows Subsystem) for Linux.
