It's interesting what some people's priorities are.




The irony is that the right seems to be abusing the word more than the left does these day. It seems to be a catch-all for people who are mean to me on the internet for them.


'These days', the word is appropriate to describe the administration, was my point. I don't think it's hyperbole.


Do you have anything substantive to say?

Do you disagree that this behavior - assaulting journailsts - is fascist? Calling them the 'enemy of the people'?

One of my senators used it as well and that's not the kind of thing they toss around lightly.

It's not specifically fascist, in the sense that many groups are doing it, and it's not exactly a central tenet of fascism. Mussolini was himself a journalist.
