There is an industry in japan where people can get fake married[1]. Its very popular among women. Its a sad outcome of a country that penalizes marriage.
I remember when a Goldman advisor told Japanese govt to make baby and child care easier to bringing more woman into economy, he quipped "But madam, thats why we are building a big robot industry"(presumably to solve the child care system which is heavily backlogged[2][3]).
